"Oxfam is committed to ending poverty in the UK. We are developing QuidsIn to support people to build a savings pot to relieve some of the emotional and physical stress associated with living on low incomes."
Justin Watson, Head of UK Programmes, Oxfam GB
Oxfam is piloting QuidsIn, helping you create a savings pot for whatever you need it for - small emergencies or larger expenses.
Having even a small amount of savings is so important, especially when an unexpected expense comes your way.
QuidsIn helps you build savings easily.
Sign up to take part in QuidsIn and Oxfam will add 50p for every £10 you spend on your normal everyday shopping (maximum spend of £30 per week).
This trial will run from now until 16th July 2017.
You can register for Quidsin if you:
Save money as you do your shopping. You do the shopping, we’ll do the saving. At the end of the trial period you will receive the total amount we saved for you.
Register for a QuidsIn payment card by completing this simple online form.
Send a text message to 07520634568 after every shop, including the following information:
For us to work out how much money to put into your savings account please use the following format.
e.g. SPENT £10 at TESCO
You can include every shop, including online purchases.
You may be required to show proof of purchase for any shop over £20 so please keep receipts. Take a photo of it - as that will be easier.
For every £10 you spend we will put 50p into your personal savings pot (up to a maximum spend of £30 per week). We’ll do all of this after the pilot ends in July.
Provide feedback to us at the end of the QuidsIn pilot around the 16th of July 2017.
